I am converting my 75 scottsdale to a 4 speed manual transmission and have everything mounted up and clutch pedal installed but I need the bracket that the pushrod from the pedal bolts to. It goes from the pushrod on one end to the pin that actually pushes the fork on the other, it ha a grease fitting right in the middle and is shaped like a z, I don't know what its called or where I can find one. My sister just bought a 2001 Impala two days ago,and now it won't start. Upon researching this issue on the net,since I'm lost when it comes to working on newer cars,I find that the issue is most likely in the security system.
I've found way more information than I could ever use about the passlock security system and all the problems people are having. The problem is that it's not just the Impala,it's several other models as well.
